Greg Koukl
Greg founded Stand to Reason in 1993 and currently serves as president of Stand to Reason. He has spoken on more than 70 college and university campuses in the U.S. and abroad and has hosted his own call-in radio show for 27 years, advocating for “Christianity worth thinking about.” He has debated atheist Michael Shermer on national radio and Deepak Chopra on national television. An award-winning writer and best-selling author, Greg has written seven books, including “The Story of Reality—How the World Began, How It Ends, and Everything Important that Happens in Between;” “Tactics—A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions,” and “Relativism: Feet Firmly Planted in Mid-Air.” Greg has been featured on Focus on the Family radio and has been interviewed for CBN and the BBC. He’s been quoted in Christianity Today, the U.S. News & World Report and the L.A. Times.
Greg received his master’s in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology, graduating with high honors, and his master’s in Christian Apologetics with honors from Simon Greenleaf University. He is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University.

Frank Turek
Dr. Frank Turek is a dynamic speaker and award-winning author or coauthor of four books: “Stealing from God: Why Atheists Need God to make their Case,” “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist,” “Correct, Not Politically Correct” and “Legislating Morality.” As the President of CrossExamined.org, Turek presents powerful and entertaining evidence for Christianity at churches, high schools and secular college campuses that often begin hostile to his message. He has also debated several prominent atheists including Christopher Hitchens and David Silverman, president of American Atheists.
Turek hosts an hour-long TV program each week called “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist” that is broadcast Wednesday nights on DirecTV Channel 378 (NRBTV). His radio program, “CrossExamined with Frank Turek,” airs on 186 stations every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. eastern and is available continuously on the free CrossExamined App.
Turek is a widely featured guest in the media as a leading apologetics expert and commentator. He has appeared on hundreds of radio programs and many top TV programs including: The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, Faith Under Fire and Politically Incorrect. He also writes a column for Townhall.com and several other sites.
A former aviator in the US Navy, Frank has a master’s degree from The George Washington University and a doctorate from Southern Evangelical Seminary. He and his wife, Stephanie, are blessed with three grown sons.
Breakout Session Speakers

Allen Hainline
Allen Hainline graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Texas in Austin with highest honors and received a master’s equivalent degree in Systems and Software Engineering. His most recent education included graduate study at Biola University in apologetics. Hainline worked at Raytheon for about 12 years in software engineering but left as an Engineering Fellow in 1999 to be involved in 3D-modeling at a startup company. He has taught for Raytheon, the University of Texas and the College of Southwestern. Hainline now runs a small company that develops AI algorithms and software. He has worked for about 20 years in commercial satellite imaging, producing the imagery used in Google Maps and other applications.
Hainline has led a Reasonable Faith chapter the past 8 years at the University of Texas in Dallas and more recently also at a public high school. He recently partnered with Dr. Luke Barnes to write a chapter on fine-tuning evidence for God for a book entitled Story of the Cosmos. He has served as an instructor in the CrossExamined Instructor’s Academy and spoken on apologetics in England, Ecuador, Mexico, Philippines, Russia and Ukraine on behalf of churches or organizations like Ratio Christi.

Eric Hernandez
Eric Hernandez is a dynamic evangelist and apologist with a heart for proclaiming the gospel and defending the faith on theological and philosophical grounds. He is a licensed minister, certified formation therapist, on the Denison Forum Advisory Board, and the Apologetics Lead and Millennial Specialist for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He has spoken and debated on a public level at university college campuses where he adamantly and adequately defends the Christian faith against atheist, agnostic and deistic professors of different worldviews. He holds an associate degree in social science, a bachelor’s degree in theology, and a certificate in apologetics from Biola University.

Katie McCoy
Katie McCoy serves as Director of Women’s Ministry at Texas Baptists. She holds a PhD in systematic theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she researched Old Testament laws about women’s dignity. When she’s not writing, teaching or YouTubing, you can find her baking or just making a mess in the kitchen. Katie is a political news junkie and the Container Store is her happy place.

Mike Miller
Mike Miller is a former skeptic who now has over 25 years of pastoral ministry experience, much of which has been in some of the most unreached places in America. Mike became a Christian while working as a pilot, and he immediately became a student of apologetics because of his desire to win his skeptical friends and associates to Jesus. He has earned two doctorates specializing in apologetic preaching and served on the faculty of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as Campus Pastor and professor of preaching. He has also lectured numerous times on pulpit apologetics and on how Christians can engage our culture in an effective manner. Mike currently serves as Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville, TX. He is married to Terri and has three grown children and three small grandchildren.
